What is Papara?
We’re a financial super-app committed to providing user-friendly, fast, and free financial services to all. We’re an alternative to traditional banks and were initially established to make financial services accessible for the un/under-banked or underserved. Ultimately, we’re here to provide all our users with financial freedom, giving them the opportunity to manage their money in the way that suits them best.
Our journey started in April 2016, when we received our “Electronic Money Institution” license in Turkey. Shortly afterwards, in August 2016, we launched our app, and we became the first non-bank entity in Turkey to issue a MasterCard prepaid card; we are currently a MasterCard, Visa and Interbank Card Center member.
What can you do with a Papara account?
Opening an account with Papara is super simple and takes just a few minutes! Once you’re up and running, you can send and receive money 24/7 free of charge, pay your bills, manage your budget, make & receive payments using a QR code, buy game credits, buy and sell foreign currencies, and a whole lot more. We also offer multi-functional, prepaid cards which you can use worldwide for in-store or online shopping. We’ve developed four different cards suited to various user needs: Papara Lite Card, Papara Black Card, Papara Virtual Card and Papara Metal Card.
With any Papara Card, you spend your current balance, and avoid the risk of running into debt or overspending. It may not be a credit card, but Papara has a great Cashback program that earns you instant cash rewards as you spend.
